Passport applications are accepted by mail only at these locations. If you need to apply
for a new passport, you must appear in person at a local passport
acceptance office.
To renew a passport, send it along with the completed and signed DSP-82 to:

Walk-in service for persons who must depart soon (within 14 -21 days) is available at the following
locations. Call 1-877-487-2778, toll free, to make an
advance appointment. You must bring your social security number or
appointment confirmation number, evidence of your impending departure, such as an
airline ticket, your filled-out (but not signed) application, photo ID, passport photos
and fees, plus special fee for expediting your passport application. Do not arrive more
than 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment. If you arrive more than
15 minutes after your scheduled appointment, you will have to reschedule.
Please note that there is no charge for an appointment to visit any of
the State Dept's regional passport agencies.
If you are the executor for the estate of someone who has died and left a
valid passport, you should send the passport along with a copy of the death
certificate to your local agency at one of the addresses listed below.
